5 Open Source E-Learning Scripts

Today I decided to mention some of the available E-Learning Scripts in the Web. They are Open Source, so it means you don’t need to spend money on it. It’ good for example if you want to implement it in a school our if you want to start a Tutorial Website.


MoodleMoodle is a course management system – an Open Source software package designed using sound pedagogical principles, to help educators create effective online learning communities.


DrupalEdBuilt on the popular Drupal CMS system, DrupalEd can be used as an informal and/or formal learning site where students, teachers, classes etc have comparable and/or hierarchical permissions.


ClarolineClaroline is an Open Source eLearning and eWorking platform allowing teachers to build effective online courses and to manage learning and collaborative activities on the web.


DokeosDokeos is a learning management system used in more than 600 companies and public administrations to manage e-learning and blended learning programmes.


Docebo Docebo is an e-Learning platform (LMS and LCMS) that supports 12 languages, is compliant to the SCORM 1.2 standard, and different didactic models. Including: Blended, Self-Directed, Collaborative and even Social Learning through Chat, Wiki, Forums etc.
